On Saturday 20 June 2020, Dolomiti Taxi together with other bus rental companies in the province of Belluno organized a peaceful protest to raise awareness among institutions and public opinion about the difficult period that the rental sector is going through.
From Belluno to Cortina at reduced speed
We left from Belluno station with 19 buses from 9 Belluno companies towards Cortina, proceeding at reduced speed, forming a large snake for the entire route. Once we arrived in Cortina we stopped at the bus station for half an hour, taking up the entire square, for an “open air meeting”. A photographer and journalist from the “Corriere delle Alpi” were present to immortalize the moment and collect our requests. Tele Belluno also gave us visibility by broadcasting the service on Monday 22 June 2020 and Rai 3 Tg Regione on Tuesday 23 June 2020.

If the Government and the Region do not listen to us and do not give us a hand to overcome this moment of difficulty, we will plan other “snail” exits in the middle of the summer season not only in a single direction, but rather towards the main routes (Agordino-Zoldano-Cadore- Comelico) which bring tourists to our beautiful Dolomites.
